Strategy
Each month we emphasize all four components. The first week is Well Rounded with Knowledge, the second week College Readiness and so on until each month is complete and we've come to the end of the year.
1.) Well Rounded with Knowledge:
Consists of Exercise, Nutrition, Leadership, Goals, Finance, Basic Sewing, Recyclable Garment, Fashion Show, and Etiquette Class.
2.) College Readiness:
College tours, college readiness worksheets, discussion about goals, and what college they want to attend, and much more.
3.) Leadership/ Goals and Peer Pressure:
We define what makes one a leader and how does one become a leader. We discuss goals and what has been set for the girls, the importance of goals. We identified some signs of peer pressures, How does it make one feel, what should you do if it happens to you...
4.) Giving Back to Community:
Teaching the girls the importance of giving back. We should always reach out and help others as we never know how life could change and we might need some kind of assistance in life. They volunteer at Foster Adopt Connect, Mary L. Kelly Center, Jewish Family Services, and the Location one(1) Building.
We provide tutoring for anyone that needs a little assistance with their school work on Sundays from 3 pm to 4 pm.
We strive for our children to be fearless leaders of GOD, to be aware of the world around them, and to boldly stand up, making a positive impact within the community. To achieve these goals, we focus on life skills, self-reliance, and challenges that they may face daily. Empowering them to make smart choices every day of their lives.
